El paciente acude a nuestra consulta porque le han diagnosticado Diabetes Mellitus tipo II. Hasta ahora nunca se había preocupado ni le daba importancia a la hipertensión arterial (no se toma la medicación pautada) ni a la obesidad, es más, le encanta comer. Últimamente no duerme bien y está muy preocupado porque van a despedir a personal de la Caja de Ahorros. Nos comenta que no es alérgico a nada, no fuma y que su padre también fue diabético.
The patient comes to our consultation because he has been diagnosed with Type II Diabetes Mellitus. Until now, he had never been concerned about or given importance to his high blood pressure (he does not take the prescribed medication) or his obesity. In fact, he loves to eat. Lately, he has not been sleeping well and is very worried because staff layoffs are expected at the Savings Bank. He tells us that he is not allergic to anything, does not smoke, and that his father was also diabetic.
