Se presenta el caso clínico de un paciente que manifestó un episodio de uveítis anterior bilateral, donde destacaba como antecedente un cuadro de nefritis inmunomediada en el mes previo a la inflamación ocular, atribuido al uso de Nivolumab por parte del paciente. Tras la exploración y pruebas analíticas, se concluyó que el cuadro correspondía a un síndrome “TINU-like” mediado por Nivolumab. Este caso pretende poner de manifiesto el aumento de incidencia de los llamados efectos adversos inmunomediados, atribuidos a fármacos inhibidores de los checkpoint inmunes, siendo importantes en el diagnóstico diferencial de estas entidades.
A case of a patient manifesting an episode of bilateral anterior uveitis is presented, with a history of immune-mediated nephritis in the month prior to ocular inflammation, attributed to the use of Nivolumab by the patient. After the examination and analytical tests, it was concluded that the condition corresponded to a “TINU-like” syndrome mediated by Nivolumab. This case aims to highlight the increased incidence of so-called immune-mediated adverse effects, attributed to drugs that inhibit immune checkpoints, being important in the differential diagnosis of these entities.
