El accidente cerebrovascular isquémico (ACVi) es una emergencia médica caracterizada por la interrupción del flujo sanguíneo en el cerebro, que puede provocar daño neurológico severo y discapacidad. Este caso clínico presenta el manejo integral de un paciente con un ACVi reciente, destacando las intervenciones de enfermería para estabilizar al paciente, prevenir complicaciones, promover la rehabilitación y educar tanto al paciente como a la familia sobre el manejo de la enfermedad.
Ischemic stroke (ischemic stroke) is a medical emergency characterized by interruption of blood flow in the brain, which can result in severe neurological damage and disability. This case report presents the comprehensive management of a patient with a recent ischemic stroke, highlighting nursing interventions to stabilize the patient, prevent complications, promote rehabilitation, and educate both the patient and family on disease management.
