Se realiza un Plan de Cuidados para una paciente de 2 años.
Esta paciente acude urgencias urgencias traída por sus padres, tras haberse arrojado una olla con agua hirviendo, una hora previa a su llegada. Presenta quemaduras de 2º grado en hemifacies izquierda, cervical y zona torácica, esto supone un total del 18% de su cuerpo. El cálculo de la superficie corporal quemada se ha realizado mediante los métodos de Lund y Bowdes (Anexo 1).
A Care Plan is established for a 2 year old patient.
This patient presents to the emergency department with acute pain localized in the right lumbar area, radiating to the right abdominal area. We note that her temperature is markedly elevated. She reports difficulty urinating and feeling nauseous. Reviewing her medical history, we observe that she presented with the same symptoms two years ago and was diagnosed with pyelonephritis, albeit with the difference that her temperature was stable at that time.
