Hombre de 32 años de Lleida, fue diagnosticado con una hernia inguinal derecha hace un año. Después de experimentar un aumento en el tamaño y dolor, se le programó para una cirugía. Durante la preparación preoperatoria, se realizaron análisis de sangre y pruebas de PCR. Se determinó que el paciente tenía bajo riesgo anestésico y se le indicó seguir una serie de pasos, incluyendo ayuno antes de la operación.
La cirugía se realizó con anestesia general y técnica abierta, con colocación de una malla de refuerzo. El procedimiento fue exitoso y el paciente fue dado de alta con instrucciones de cuidado postoperatorio, incluyendo medicamentos para el dolor y pautas de actividad y dieta. Se le programó una cita de seguimiento con el cirujano para revisión de la herida y evolución del paciente.
A 32-year-old man from Lleida, was diagnosed with a right inguinal hernia a year ago. After experiencing an increase in size and pain, he was scheduled for surgery. During the preoperative preparation, blood tests and PCR tests were performed. It was determined that the patient had a low anesthetic risk and he was instructed to follow a series of steps, including fasting before the operation.
The surgery was performed under general anesthesia and with an open technique, with placement of a reinforcing mesh. The procedure was successful and the patient was discharged with postoperative care instructions, including pain medications and guidelines for activity and diet. A follow-up appointment with the surgeon was scheduled for wound review and patient progress.
