There are gaps in the literature on the history of care in ancient Mesoamerica. Most of the references are from classic textbooks, often having as their source books on the history of Medicine and general History. At the beginning of teaching the History of Nursing in Brazil, the use of textbooks considered classics was observed, important in the beginning of the writing of the History of Nursing. In this context, it aims to identify evidence about care in ancient Mesoamerica in classic texts used between 1920 and 1950 [Fragmento de texto].
Percebe-se lacunas na literatura sobre a história do cuidado na antiga Mesoamérica. A maior parte das referências trata-se de livros-textos clássicos, tendo muitas vezes como fonte, livros sobre a história da Medicina e História geral. No início do ensino da História da Enfermagem no Brasil, observa-se uso de livros-texto considerados clássicos, importantes do início da escrita da História da Enfermagem. Nesse contexto, pretende identificar evidências sobre o cuidado na antiga Mesoamérica em textos clássicos utilizados entre 1920 e 1950 [Fragmento de texto].
